These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) govern your use of the services provided by SmartHosting Web Services (“SmartHosting”, “we”, “our”, “us”) through our websites:

• smarthosting.gr (main website)

• billing.smarthosting.gr (billing & customer portal)

By registering, accessing, or using any of our services, you (“Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

1. Services Provided

SmartHosting offers web hosting, reseller hosting, domain registration, WordPress hosting, SSL certificates, and related services.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice.

2. Account Registration & Responsibility

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

• You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

• You must be at least 18 years old to register.

3. Payments & Billing

• All services are billed in Euro (€).

• Payment must be made in advance of service activation.

• Invoices are due on or before the due date. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.

• Prices may change; existing contracts will not be affected until renewal.

• Certain services (domains, SSLs, licenses) are non-refundable once activated.

• VAT is applied in accordance with Greek and EU tax law.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services for:

• Hosting or distributing illegal, harmful, or copyrighted material without authorization.

• Sending spam, phishing, or other abusive communications.

• Hosting malware, viruses, or engaging in hacking activities.

• Activities that violate Greek, EU, or international law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation.

5. Domains & SSL Certificates

• Domain registrations are subject to registry rules and may not be cancelled or refunded once processed.

• You are responsible for ensuring timely renewals of domains and SSL certificates.

• SmartHosting is not liable for loss of domains due to expired renewals or incorrect registration details.

6. Service Availability & Backups

• We strive to provide a 99.9% uptime SLA. However, downtime may occur due to maintenance or unforeseen issues.

• While we provide automated backups, you are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups.

• SmartHosting is not responsible for data loss due to customer actions, third-party applications, or force majeure events.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Fail to pay invoices on time.

• Violate our Acceptable Use Policy.

• Engage in activities that cause harm to our network or other customers.

Upon termination, your data may be permanently deleted.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

• SmartHosting shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the last billing cycle.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SmartHosting from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Our collection and processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at:

By using our services, you agree to such processing.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union (EU).

• Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Athens, Greece.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our websites. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
